DASHAVTAR  movie dubbed from tamil Dasavathaaram.

Here, the idea of Chaos Theory is traced back to the 12th Century in Southern India, where Kuluthonga Chola wishes to bring Saivism over Lord Vishnu. Ordering his workers to slave the Vishnu idol into the depths of the seas, Rangarajan Nambi, a devotee and disicple of his guru Ramunaja, overthrows Chola's beliefs and confronts.

What peoples said about Dashavtar movie showing below:-

  1. Well Blackthorne, even shiva purana, Devi purana and such glorifies each of the significant personalities as supreme. Its wrong for you to say vaishanavas are ignoble and arrogant just based on what they believe in. Every sect believes theirs is the only way. For an example your reference to vaishanavas being typical just because in the movie Kamal refuses to give up his faith but you don't comment about the saivites who actually resorted to violence and force just because they Believe Lord Shiva.
  2. If you understood the meaning of the song that comes after this part. You would have understood. It says 'if you believe than stone Is god if not than it is a stone. If you worship than stone is god, if not than it is a stone.. It's all about believe nothing else!!!
  3. But why does he ignore the pleading of his dear wife and infant son to be there for them and instead gets himself foolishly killed for the sake of a stone? If the character played so deftly by the legendary Tamil actor Kamalasan was supposed to be highly intelligent, evolved and pro-intellectual, how could he negate simple logic about a stone=God BS? Seems like irrational fanatical theocratic nonsense. And, don't get me wrong, this trend is observable in ALL religions including mine - Judaism.
  4. As a Jewish-American person here ( an I do have respect for Christianity too because of their brilliant & inspiring culture which made Europe & America the greatest powers ever), I was always fascinated by this movie which I had the pleasure of viewing here in NY a few years back. I always thought Indians ( Hindus) were tolerant & rational unlike the grotesque & savage retarded evil cult of islam. The scene where the lead actor refuses the requests of his wife & son for a stone is disturbing!
  5. om namo narayanaya,, namah parvatippate hara hara mahadeva... dont fall in propaganda of abrahamics to dividing hindus under sectionalism, like what they have,, in lights of shia-sunni,, catholic-protestants(and 34,000 more branches). shivashcha hrudayam vishnur, vishnucha hrudaya shiva, yadantaram na paschyami tadame svastirayushe.
